Who processes the data

The joint controllers are Edoardo Bambini, Alessandro Citzia, Serena Mazzeo, Fabrizio Pelella, and Marco De Luca, natural persons operating under the name Husk AI. The common contact is info@husk-ai.com. You may exercise your rights against each of the joint controllers; the common contact collects and coordinates requests. You may also ask for the essence of the joint controller arrangement.

What the site collects

Nothing. The contact form on the About us page sends nothing to the site: it opens your mail app with the email already written, and what you type stays in your browser until you send it yourself. No cookie and no analytics tool. The pages are the same for everyone and do not recognise you from one visit to the next.

What remains is only what any server records in order to answer a request and defend itself from abuse: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type. The hosting provider keeps these technical logs on its own account and to its own schedule; we do not consult them to identify anyone and we do not combine them with anything else. The basis is the legitimate interest in keeping the site reachable and secure (art. 6.1.f GDPR).

If you write to us

The only way to contact us is to write to info@husk-ai.com. The link, like the contact form, opens your own mail app: the message leaves from you and does not pass through the site. We receive only what you decide to write.

We use your address and the content of your message to answer you, and for nothing else. If you write on your own behalf the basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR); if you write for a company it is the legitimate interest in answering a professional enquiry (art. 6.1.f). We do not add you to any newsletter, we do not profile you and we take no automated decisions about you.

The mailbox is on Proton Mail, provided by Proton AG (Switzerland): messages arrive there and pass through no other mail service.

For how long

Messages that do not lead to a working relationship are deleted within 6 months of the last exchange, from the mailbox and from the trash. Any relationship with a client has its own periods and its own notice.

The server technical logs follow the hosting provider periods and are not up to us.

Who receives the data

The site is hosted by Railway Corporation (USA) on servers in the European Union. Railway receives nothing you have written, because the site collects nothing: it processes only the technical connection data described above. We use no storage, no database, no email sending service, no analytics and no third-party delivery network.

The mailbox is provided by Proton AG (Switzerland), which processes the messages as a processor on our behalf. The emails you send us are read by the joint controllers and by the people authorised to answer. We do not sell addresses and we do not use them for campaigns.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

The European location of the server does not rule out access or processing outside the EEA by the hosting provider, which is a United States company. The mailbox is in Switzerland, a country covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission: no further transfer mechanism is needed for the emails.

You can ask info@husk-ai.com for information about recipients and a copy of the applicable safeguards.

Cookies, fonts and animations

The site sets no cookies: neither technical nor any other kind. No advertising, analytics, heatmaps, session recording or trackers. The language is written in the page address, not in a cookie. That is why no consent banner is needed.

The fonts are files inside the site and are served from this domain: the browser asks nothing of Google or anyone else. The Beams animations run in your browser and send data nowhere. There are no embedded videos, maps, chats, external forms or third-party frames. While you browse, the browser contacts no domain other than this one.

Your rights

Write to info@husk-ai.com to request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of the data contained in our correspondence. Where applicable you can obtain portability and object to processing based on legitimate interest. We answer without undue delay, as a rule within one month; any justified extension is communicated to you within that period.

We may ask you only for the information needed to verify your identity. You can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority or with the supervisory authority where you live or work. You do not have to contact us before complaining.
